Dont we all sometimes meet some people we instantly connect with? We get along like a house on fire. There is never any need for any kind of pretence and with these people we can just be us. We never have to think about what we are saying and how the other will perceive it. We are just ourselves and there is this sense of oneness and connectedness as if the two are one.
Who are these people? Where do they come from? Why do they feel like they are just us? Just an extension of who we are?
The other may be true as well. Instant dislike, bad vibes, never getting along, someone who effects us a lot for reasons we do not understand.
I call these people soul connections - souls that travel with us for a reason. Souls who make a contract with us to help us through our journey, our big plan, our learning to make us better people, make us or push us to work towards our larger purpose beyond the daily humdrum, beyond the material, beyond the inter personal to something bigger - the purpose of our existence.
I have met so many soul connections along the way. People i cherish, people i look forward to meeting, people who i want to learn from, people who show the way without really knowing that they are doing something special. People who make an instant difference in our lives.
The important thing is to recognise them instantly and instead of getting lost in the daily human emotional barrier, rise above, learn and evolve.
